Greeting from AAPPS-DPP chair

Asia-PAcific Region is growing very rapidly in science and technology. Cooperation of physics program is in this region is quite important.
Division of Plasma Physics under AAPPS (AAPPS-DPP) is established in 2014 and started its annual conference in 2017 at Chengdu successfully (450 participants).
2nd Asia-Pacific Conference on Plasma Physics (AAPPS-DPP 2018) is the second annual conference of Division of Plasma Physics under AAPPS.
We have more than 650 participants in AAPPS-DPP2018. I welcome all of you to Kanazawa to enjoy scientific discussions in all area of plasma physics.

It is great pleasure for the Japanese plasma physics community that the AAPPS-DPP 2018 will be held at Kanazawa, Japan.

The Asian-Pacific region is getting more and more important, not only in economy but also in science and technology of the world.

I hope that this annual meeting of the AAPPS-DPP will become a symbolic event to show how the Asian-Pacific community plays important rolls in the plasma physics.
