Access to Malacca(Melaka) City from Two Airports: Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and Singapore Changi Airport (SIN)
It is most advisable to get to the Melaka City by land transport, namely bus and taxis. You may travel by train to the nearby Pulau Sebang/Tampin Railway Station if you are already in Kuala Lumpur or Singapore city, followed by taxis or bus service to the heart of Melaka.

- The last bus from KLIA to Malacca(Melaka Sentral) leaves at 9.30 pm at present, so make sure you have enough time to transfer after arriving at the airport. The first bus to Malacca leaves at 7:00. Departure times, including the first and last bus, may change, so please check the reservation site below in advance.

- Since there are no direct buses from Changi Airport to Malacca, you first need to head to a bus terminal in Singapore.
- Recommended terminals include "Queen Street Bus Terminal" or the "Golden Mile Complex" near Lavender MRT Station. See the map shown below.
- You can reach these terminals from the airport by taxi or via the MRT (subway). The travel time is about 30 to 40 minutes.
- From Golden Mile Complex or Queen Street, express buses bound for Malacca are available.
- Major bus companies include "707 Inc" and "Transtar Travel," and tickets can be booked online in advance. Buses usually run several times a day, with tickets costing around 20 to 30 Singapore dollars.
- The bus ride usually takes about 4 to 5 hours. However, the immigration process at the Malaysia-Singapore border can take time, and delays are common, especially on weekends or public holidays.
- At the Singapore-Malaysia border, you will need to get off the bus for immigration checks. Once all formalities are completed, you can re-board the bus to continue your journey to Malacca. By following these steps, you can travel from Changi Airport to Malacca by express bus.
